Just This Week

Well I am happy to see Friday roll around again...this week has been a long one!  This week was Spring Break for everybody except those of us who have grown-up jobs and have to work, which made it a slow week at work, but I can’t complain too much because at least it meant ZERO traffic in the mornings!

Even though the work days seemed long the week still went by fast.

On Monday night we worked on photography business, ordering some new equipment and doing paperwork and taxes...ick.  But we are VERY excited because we have booked a very large photography project for the next couple of months!  We will be photographing somewhere around 500 families for a church directory...*phew* it will be a LOT of work, but it will be worth it.  When we found out that we might have this opportunity we started praying that we would only get it if photography was where God is leading us and if He would bless it.  And not only did we get the job, but some of the more expensive equipment we would need we didn’t have and didn’t know how we could buy it, so we prayed that God would provide it somehow and the next day it was offered to us as a loan for FREE!  We are *SO* excited that this is where God is leading us and can’t wait to see where it goes from here.

Wednesday night was my brother Isaac’s 23rd birthday!  We went to dinner at my parents and enjoyed this yummy cake!  He loves mint chocolate chip ice cream and since it is so close to Saint Patrick’s Day the cake said “Kiss me, I’m Isaac” ha ha, LOVE it!

Thursday night we went out with our friends Josh and Lauren for Josh’s birthday (lots of birthdays this week!).  We ate at Baha Burger, which none of us had been to before.  It was really yummy and I think we just might eat there again sometime :-)

And now it’s Friday! We are closing the office early today and I’m looking forward to a long weekend - AND taking Monday off to go to Atlanta with my mom and sister to see my sister-in-law and nephews!
