Catching up...

What an eventful week we’ve had already! And lots more to come!

Monday night, after work, we went to my parent’s house for dinner with about half of my siblings. It was a really yummy dinner and a good time with everybody, lots of good conversation, a TON of laughs, a good serving of picking on each other and a little guitar hero and home videos. (Bekah and Caleb, two words: “Barbara Ann”)

So by Tuesday we realized that we had left our mess carry over from the weekend. I generally have three main cleaning issues: Dishes, Laundry and Paper.

Seriously, the kitchen garbage can is just way too far to walk to throw trash away, and we end up with stacks of mail, paper and trash on the coffee table and end tables.

So Tuesday we cleaned up the apartment, and Harrison got to use his favorite wedding gift: The Dyson Vacuum cleaner (I’m not kidding about that, he really likes it, I haven’t vacuumed one time). We have also decided that we will get a trash can to keep in the living room for the paper trash (If you’ve never read “The House That Cleans Itself” you should!)

Alright, so on to Wednesday! Good news from work! We are working on starting a new “flex-schedule” for me and Lauren (the other girl who works in the main office with me) so that we will be able to take turns coming in early and leaving early! (emphasis on the leaving part) I am really looking forward to that extra hour in my day!

Preview for tomorrow is that Harrison is taking a day to work on photography. He will be making calls to some new contacts trying to reach some new clients. He will also be taking care of some of the business aspects that we just can’t seem to take care of outside of business hours. Pray that he will be productive with his time and that God will bless us with success and new clients through his efforts.

We will also be doing a family shoot tomorrow night! Excited!
